Insight Building Consultants began in 2023 but is backed by decades of architecture and construction industry expertise. Mark, a forensic architect with over 40 years of experience, specializes in forensic investigation, risk management, and building envelope solutions for new and existing buildings. Amanda, a licensed architect with 15 years of experience, excels in commercial and residential repair design, construction administration, and disabled accessibility consulting. We are building Insight to respond to client needs, leverage efficient design-build solutions, and to be your trusted partner in the world of architectural consulting.

Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Insight Building Consultants, Mark’s career spans various leadership roles, including Chief Executive Officer at Advanced Forensic Building Consultation LLC and Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Officer at Marx/Okubo Associates. His extensive background enables him to offer comprehensive consulting services encompassing real estate development, new construction, and existing building assessments for a diverse clientele including private investors, institutional lenders, and equity sources. Mark’s proficiency in owner’s representation, project management, and detailed building investigations makes him a trusted advisor for clients seeking expert guidance in correcting deficiencies, managing capital projects, and navigating construction litigation.

Her career highlights include managing property condition assessments, providing owner’s representation services, and leading construction monitoring efforts.
